These green mung beans are from Thailand. They are high quality, large beans, usually over 7mm in diameter.

NOTE: These beans are DRIED and we recommend they be soaked in water prior to use.

A Note on Sprouting:

Although some of our customers have reported success using our Thai mung beans for sprouting, they are not sprouting grade and we do not suggest they be used for such purposes. They are primarily for cooking and consumption.

However, we now offer Chinese mung beans that have a much higher germination rate (75%). We recommend the Chinese variety for anyone who is interested in sprouting. Please select the 'sprouting grade' option when ordering your beans.
